Minutes of a Caradon Amateur Geology Group committee meeting held at Tregarthwin on 2016-03-11. Readership is CAGG members.

Programme
Our general strategy is to make a firm programme for a six month period, with updates as time progresses.We should have some programme published for distribution at the AGM.
Outline plans for the programme were discussed, including the non-standard meeting date for a combined talk and walk around Liskeard on 2016-07-01 to participate in Charter Fair. Meeting at the museum, which has the advantage that we can do a geological tour of the museum if the weather is inclement. We will make a donation to the museum of at least the fee we would normally pay to the Long Room.
PF agreed to finalised the draft with the list of dates.
Other speakers to consider for future talks:
- Jonathon King - talk about his career as an engineering geologist. Action: PF.
- Dave Williams and Dee Edwards. Map. Fossil plaster casts. Action: BJ.
AGM planning
To be chaired by PF.Display boards, including printout of last year's Minutes.

Treasurer's report. Fees unchanged.

Solicit feedback from audience on topics or site trips.
Break, then Reading the Hurlers talk.
Reading the Hurlers status
Training tmorrow. Cheeswring 10-13. Then outside. Further training day on 2016-05-19.There may be some confusion among the mundanes about the purpose of the training.
First school visit is arranged.
Insurance is done.
Dig is organised.
CB has been buying equipment.
Permissions have been obtained.
Project mail address has been arranged.
Next meeting
Agenda to include:- Production of leaflets;
- Residential field trip;
- Risk assessments.
