Minutes of a Caradon Amateur Geology Group AGM held at Liskeard on 2016-03-18. Readership is CAGG members.

Previous minutes

The Minutes of the AGM on 2015-03-20 were summarised and agreed as a true record.

Noted that March is the expected to be the normal AGM month and that is the nominal date for the start of a membership period.

The accounts were displayed on the display board. They are in two parts because of the Reading the Hurlers project.

We brought forward a balance of just over £600 and raised £504.15 over the past year from meeting fees and £340 from membership fees.

Outgoings were £108 for room hire, £317 for speaker fees, £16.89 for refreshments and £15 in the church at Liskeard for a display.

Expenditure also includes insurance payments of £79.50 for last year and £83 for this year.

The balance this year is £848.74.

This report was approved by the meeting.

We have 36 members, including one junior. Subscription fees remain the same at £10.00.

A report of our meetings and trips is submitted to the Cornish Times.

Existing officers were re-elected.

Megan Shute and Emma Stockley volunteered to join the committee.

CB gave a presentation about last year's meetings and trips those planned for this year.
