Minutes of a Caradon Amateur Geology Group AGM held at Liskeard on 2017-03-17. Readership is CAGG members.

Previous minutes

The Minutes of the AGM on 2016-03-18 were summarised and agreed as a true record (Pete Bousfield, Sue Sluman).

Treasurer's report

PF summarised the state of the accounts:
Income          Expenditure
Brought forward: £848.74 Room hire: £104.50
Membership: £400.00 Insurance: £82.50
Meetings: £262.20 Speakers: £245.00
Refreshments: £12.25
Total: £1510.94 Total: £444.25

This makes £1066.69 carried forward for this year.

The meeting accepted this summary (Bob Jay, Sue Sluman).

Our public liability insurance is for £5,000,000. David Jean commented that some landowners now require £10,000,000. This was noted for future attention.

Publicity report

Reports of our meetings and trips are submitted to the Cornish Times and other media by AB. The high value of this was acknowledged and a folder of press cuttings was available at the meeting for inspection.
